Creating Healthy Boundaries

Finding Inspiration in Every Turn

for overachievers and people pleasers

19th November, Friday

12  - 1pm NZT via Zoom

with Elina - Wellness & Mindfulness Coach

Do you have a hard time turning down requests? Refusing requests can feel uncomfortable, especially if we think that others might get upset.

Do you put other people’s needs before yours because you may not believe your needs are essential.

Setting boundaries is an important part of establishing one’s identity and is a crucial aspect of mental health and well-being.

Boundaries can be physical or emotional, and they can range from being loose to rigid, with healthy boundaries often falling somewhere in between.

Healthy boundaries are a crucial component of self-care. That’s because “in work or in our personal relationships, poor boundaries lead to resentment, anger, and burnout”

Saying No. - Does it make you anxious just thinking about saying no to your friends or colleagues?

When building self worth, and self belief, it is so important to learn to practice saying no without the need to over explain. It is perfectly alright to say no and not have a reason. You don’t have to justify or explain yourself.

In this interactive workshop, we will cover the following:

  • What are boundaries?

  • Why is it important to set boundaries?

  • Healthy vs unhealthy boundaries

  • Your current beliefs about saying No

  • How and when to say NO?

  • Techniques to say No

  • Learn to say Yes on your terms

  • Questions & Answers

Expect to walk away from this session with confidence in your decisions, with a plan to start practicing saying NO, without feeling guilty, and start creating more time for yourself (to do the things you love).

(includes a Power of No workbook)
